Sri Govinda S. Upadhyaya is a respected philosopher and Counselling Psychologist, serving as a Aacharya at the Department of Psychology and Philosophy at Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. He is the coordinator of the Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology (PGDCP) program, a self-sustained and highly regarded course that has been running since 2005 and enrolls over a hundred students annually.
Sri Upadhyaya is recognized for his expertise in Philosophy, Classical Hinduism and Couple Counseling (दाम्पत्य-परामर्श) for leading skill-based training and field-based practicum for students.
